Overview
Remote Desktop Without Compromise
Most remote tools route your screen through their servers. ProView doesn't. After a quick handshake — relayed through a free public service that never sees your content — the connection goes straight peer-to-peer between the two machines and stays encrypted end-to-end with DTLS. A single ~14MB native app plays both roles: share your screen as the host, or view and control as the client. NAT traversal, a safety code against man-in-the-middle, and an optional PIN come built in.

Everything a Full Remote Session Needs
Direct P2P, End-to-End Encrypted
After a quick handshake, screen and control data flows directly between the two machines and is encrypted with DTLS. The relay only ever sees the handshake, never your screen.
Connect with a Short Code
The host generates a short session code; the other side types it in to connect — no accounts, no self-hosted server. Advanced mode also supports manual offer/answer paste.
Adaptive Screen Streaming
Delta dirty-rect JPEG for crisp static work, a real H.264 codec for motion, plus lossless refinement when the screen is idle. Three quality presets that auto-adapt to your network.
Full Mouse & Keyboard Control
Move, click, drag, and scroll with the mouse, plus keys, modifier combos, and text input — with an optional PIN the client must enter before taking control.
File Transfer & In-Session Chat
Send files both directions with progress and backpressure, and chat via a floating window that pops up when your partner messages you.
Safety Code Against MITM
Both machines display a 6-digit safety code derived from the DTLS fingerprint — read it to each other to confirm nobody is sitting in the middle of your connection.

Host Creates a Code
On the machine to be shared, click "Create connection code" to get a short session code that stays valid for the whole session.
Client Enters the Code
Type the code on the controlling machine, then both sides confirm the matching safety code to verify the connection.
Control, Transfer & Chat
Everything now flows directly peer-to-peer — control the desktop, send files both ways, and chat in-session.
